  1. Yeah, Allan, it’s all about priorities.  Cell phone addicts appear to have slightly different ones than some/most (hopefully) of the rest of us.  But then again, it could be that so many people are de-sensitized to the point where “hooking-up” indiscriminately is like getting a bus:  If you miss one, there will be another one along shortly.  Or like getting a cheeseburger:  There’s another set of buns right around the corner.  cutebutt

  2. DUDE ... what about the ‘vibrate mode’?

You could enhance your cellphone experience.

  3. Personally I believe that cell phones are the Devil’s scourge.

Ever noticed how insignificant people feel when their phone does not bleep incessantly?  It is as if the ringing tones define their importance and self worth.  Another thing, why do cell phone users always have to be just settling a major deal or some project and you hear all the $$$$’s the user is making or losing, because they raise their voices so you cannot but hear?.

hmmmmm Maybe, it is like men with hotrods, they just have to rev it to the max when they spot some delicious type cruising past, but when push comes to shove they are usually more in love with the vehicle, than the potential ride within it.

  4. When my phone at the house rings more than 3 times in a month I answer, “Grand Central”. My cell is turned off till I need to call someone. I use it maybe 5 times a month and charge it once a week, geeez. Sex, YeeeHaw, I’m a cowboy baby! Ain’t nuttin’ interuptin’ my 8 second ride, LOL!

  6. 24 years ago when my Lovely Bride was my Lovely Bride-to-Be, we called that situation “phonus interruptus”.  It’s real difficult to ignore when the phone is right by the bed.

We finally unplugged the damn thing in advance.

  7. We don’t have “phone” problems-we have CAT problems.
It’s kind of difficult to be ‘romantic’ when you’ve got this purry creature sitting above your head trying to love-bite you on the nose.
Being the bleeding-heart animal lover that I am- I drag my feet when it comes to throwing him out. Hubby doesn’t have my scruples.
When I was conceived my parents had 3-yes THREE-daschunds in bed with them(so I’ve been told).
Guess I come by it naturally LOL  cool smirk

  8. Barb- you have a new avatar.................
Geez- put the cats out of your bedroom & shut the door!!!!!!!!!  When involved with my special friend the door is closed, the cats can’t get in & the phone goes unanswered - simple as that..............can always check the caller ID later & call back whoever called...............

  9. Hey-you already knew I was weird tongue laugh
as for the avatar-yeah I got bored with the animae girl.
“Calvin” would have been slightly more appropriate than “Hobbes” but Hobbes works too.
Speaking of Calvin and Hobbes-Mike is a Calvinist who’s a HUGE fan of Thomas Hobbes-and John Locke and Milton Friedmann and Alan Greenspan.
His idea of talking dirty is for me to whisper things like “flat tax” or “lowered discount rates” in his ear. rolleyes

    SANCTUARY-anyone? smirk  LOL
