1. That’s Ok.

   Our politicians would take cheap shots at Australians and their political parties too, if they felt that any American felt that Australia was significant enough to

   a) know where it was

   b) know what the issues there are

   c) know who is in charge

   d) understand how their politics works

   but we don’t. To Americans, Aussies are some kind of funny talking cowboys, kind of like dry-land swamp rats, with really hot women on the beaches, and all those stupid animals with pouches. We like the cowboy part, the animals might be fun to shoot, and the babes ALWAYS get some approval ... but that’s the end of it. Australia has exactly ZERO impact or importance to the USA. Nada fuggin bit. Zippo. Oh, except for the cheap thin wine. Thanks for that!

   The more politically aware among us give them a single tip of the hat for whasshisname’s remarks about how the muzzies can either assimilate or go home the other year. But we don’t know his name. The guy in charge. Moe Howard? John Major? Brit Hume? Some guy with bad teeth and an accent, so who really cares?

2. Well the aussies won’t think so but Jennifer and I are here laughing our heads off. That is classic Drew.
   Oh btw ... it’s a woman in charge now but I forgot her name. Hang on, I don’t think I ever really knew her name.
   We (Americans) take a lot of flak for not knowing things about other ppl and places.
   But as you say, who TF cares?

4. OK,this is what gets me.Population of OZ is 22,732,914. Less than 2/3 rds of California at 37,781,667. So why the fuck should I give a shit what this little state out in the middle of the Pacific thinks of our business? Exactly! I Don’t Care. I like the folks there BUT,Your not even a stain on our map so blow it out your asses.

5. Rich, the whole damn world seems to think it knows best how we should do things.
   I got so pissed off last night listening(radio) to one would be expert on our country, all I could do was shut the damn thing off or I might have thrown it out a window.
