  1. For sure the left in all countries are strictly 3rd world, or that is what they wish on those not in the party! Im sure some states resemble 3rd world but the soppy tart should stop equating taxes with infrastructure repairs, there is way more tax revenues than needed if they would stop paying it in to the thinly disguised offices of the communist party, and yes that means unions and welfare.

  2. Another eurotard who simply cannot grasp the scale that is the western hemisphere, and no idea of the ferocity of weather that is the norm over here. Imagine if you can a storm that rains on Brussels, yet Dublin floods. Or a downpour hits London, yet Zurich nearly drowns. That’s about the scope of Irene. Some of the worst flooding in NY state was hours north and west of the ocean.

Let’s see how well Paris, Berlin, and Madrid deals with a third of a meter of rain in less than a day, when all of Europe is getting that much water at the same time, from Lisbon to Krakow, and from Bremen to Palermo. Soggy Froggys much? The rain in Spain can’t make it down the drain? Ha, there’d be deaths by the thousands.

We are a big country and we get big weather. The record shattering cold and snow that brought the UK to it’s knees last winter would not have even canceled school in Maine. Hell, they got that much snow in the southern city of Washington DC. It sucked, but in a day or two it was all cleared out. England whinged for months about the lack of plows and road grit. Cheezus. Loo. Zers.

Ok, it can be argued that Mayor Bloomberg went a bit overboard. Better safe then dead. And it was tens of millions of people impacted by the torrential rains and flooding; a full fifth of the US population lives in the north east corridor, and most of them live with 75 miles of the coast. So poor little miss fugly had to run a generator to power her hair dryer? Oh, cry me a river, that’s so “third world”. Not. Real third world doesn’t even know what a hair dryer is, and is grateful for a sliver of soap to have a small wash once a week with.

And poor her once again, she had no electric to run her stove. Boo hoo. But there’s no gas in my swanky town! she complains. Yeah, that’s the case for millions of us. We have a solution; it’s called a propane tank. Or an axe and a few cords of hickory. Whiner.

And she had no water, even though her home has it’s own well and she had a generator. What kind of bullshit is this? Fix it yourself sweetie; it’s called freedom. But no, all this socialist leach can do is complain that there wasn’t enough government fast enough. Mental deadbeat.

And of course Chris is right - it isn’t the level of taxes, it’s the BS overhead that sucks so much of it up and keeps most of it from doing what it was supposed to do in the first place.

Oh, and you know what I DIDN’T notice in her article? I didn’t read ONE SINGLE WORD about how she pitched in and helped out, whether it was wielding a chainsaw to clear downed trees, working with the relief groups to pass out donuts and blankets, or even being a monitor at any of the dozens of the shelters small towns and private organizations put together on the fly to support their neighbors in peril. Not a word, because it was all about ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME and my horrid inconveniences. Fuck you.

  3. OOF,

Looks like she’s got a nasty attitude because her face was hit by a cat-5 Hurricane and even FEMA couldn’t rectify the damage!

  4. If NY and a lot of the liberal coasts were NOT subsidizing illegals, welfare fraud and non-productive takers - not to mention all union and public officials gold plated retirements and healthcare benefits - there would be - wait, no there wouldn’t be repairs/upgrades because these areas are also firmly controlled by - the EPA - which is stifling all sorts of construction and businesses in every way they can.

The EPA couldn’t get cows done away with under the Goracles Glowball Warning bs - so now in CA - they have started to declare hay as a pollutant.

Defund 50% of gov - and America would be a superpower in 6 months (IRS, EPA, Dept of Ed, Illegal aliens and Obamacare at the top of the list).

What does it cost to buy a case of water when you go shopping to have for emergencies? A camp stove and some fuel? Canned goods or camping food?

    What a schmuck.

Parts of America are in third world shape - not a single one she mentioned, even after the storm. But America will never be a third world country - as We The People are better than that, better than our current (P)resident and better than letting our freedom and independence being handed over to morons, idiots and liars (except for this past election - which many, many people attempted to warn the rest about - but the NBPP and ACORN cheated to git r done). We will survive - and I agree with the other commentors - GO HOME.

  5. And we see that America is hurting. We’re not willing to just sit back and watch her demise through some “fundamental transformation” of the greatest country on earth. We’re here to stop that transformation and to begin the restoration of the country that we love.

Sarah Palin, IA speech, Sept. 3, 2011.

As long as 1 Patriot stands up and says NO there will always be hope for Tomorrow in America.

Read a great moniker for Obama in the comments section of a story this AM -

The Fresh Prince of Bill Ayers!

  7. Ok why are you taking any notice of her? Im from England and can assure you few over there understand the USA (I cannot understand the support for socialism either!) I love Top Gear and Clarkson but look how shocked they were when an american car was good! the stereotypes and the damage done to the reputation in the 40s lives on (overpaid, over sexed and over here) then there is the envy bit, our old colony made better than good! and then you have the Obama democrats proving all the stereotypes true!! but still why take that harpie to heart, or any euro fool, look at the unholy mess they have made trying to emulate the USA?(look up french for the USA and EU!!)
Me I escaped from their socialist utopia with what was left from a lifetimes work (bastard Soros, owes me 5 years of my life when he crashed the pound and he owns Obama!) England recovered from Soros for a while until the socialists killed it!

  8. That woman is really hairyuglocentric. Her looks are equal to her attitude. Yuk.

Why didn’t she have her 77 year old neighbor plug the oxygen machine into her generator?

    Typical liberal!
