How can they expect to be treated the same as everyone else when they are willing to kill their own children for not following their 7th century religion?

Sad, between the muslims and the socialist congresscritters - America is going to be destroyed from within (yes, I know that this specific story was in Canada - but it is just a matter of time before it starts happening here). . .
No Wardmama, it’s only a matter of time before it happens here again, and we actually recognize it for what it is. I seem to recall a girl in Brooklyn a couple years ago, didn’t show up at school, turned out that her father and brothers had killed her cuz she was talking to some boy. We didn’t know that this kind of murder had a category name back then.
If you do not want to assimilate then stay the @#$% home. You come to live here on one basic condition - that you want to be like us. Teddy Rosevelt was right - there is no room in this country for hyphenated Americans. And I’ll add “and even less room for enclave-Americans with no desire to blend in”.
All pertinent comments. There’s one thing that bothers me though; This is a dog-bites-man story. It’s not new, it’s not shocking, to some (any Democrat and most Republican) politicians, it might not even be credible. Sometimes I think the only people who care are people like us and let’s face it, most folks wouldn’t consider us mainstream.

Yes, I do understand the hedging as to ‘religious’ practices - but murder (most especially since it seems to be only women who get murdered) is a different aspect all together and as mentioned - assimilation especially when it comes to extremes - must be a requirement. There is nothing to keep them from going back to their home country to do what they please.
Aside - I bet Daddy Dearest runs around in his nikes et al, fitting in just fine without a second thought and/or beating about it.
BTW, just as was part of the FL trial [woman claimed her ‘sect’ of Islam required her to wear a veil for drivers license photo - but came out her hubby had numerous ‘identities’ and that the ‘sect’ of Islam they claimed - didn’t allow women to drive - so her whole case was nixed] i.e. the duplicity of the ‘claims’. Wouldn’t it be a requirement (which the wearing of the hijab indicates) also that women to be taught separately from males? Which then makes it a delicate tightrope of the father failing his religion by allowing his daughter to go to a schoool that mixes the sexes?!? So everyone is in failure, not just the rebellious daughter. And said daughter, who may have been born outside the Muslim country, which makes the ‘requirements’ of the ‘old’ country vastly unknown to her. The story said they just moved into that neighborhood a year ago - I love the dearth of research and investigation our msm provides to give clarity, context and perspective to the stories they claim to be ‘reporting’.
When will we wake up, criminalize Islam, and kick all those goofballs out of North America? (yes, Canada, the USA, and Mexico ought to take a unified stand against the idiots who pretend they practice a peaceful “religion” instead of what it is: a movement designed to destroy all things, including their own daughters, who disagree with Islamic “law” (Islamic Law is to real law what feces is to a healthy pre-frontal cortex).
