1. Kind of shows a lack of imagination on their part naming their kids after a 7th century sex offender.

3. Yeah, with the name so common, how could they decide that it was an insult to their prophet?  It would be like getting upset over John or Jack, even if Christians got seriously upset by such things.  It’s a common name in the community and I assume, a friendly one.
