  1. Mother of Pearl, the American Government can’t even run a railroad (Amtrak), without it being a collosal failure. In its 38 year existence, even with government (that is taxpayer subsidy) Amtrak has rarely if ever had a profitable year. The longer routes such as the California Zephyr are more often than not behind schedule, and receive a subsidy for each passenger and it still oozes red ink. That should give someone a clue that government run health care will also be a collosal failure.

  2. I’m beginning to get a little pissed off at the idiots! Is it permissible for me to get belligerent with my CongressCritters the next time I get within earshot?  nah-nah  nah-nah

  3. Amtrack, the DMV, Medicare, Social Security - the government really does have quite a track record.

Don’t worry - the government paying for abortion just might halt this obamanation in it’s tracks (of course the tax hike on everyone making over 250,000; 280,000; 300,000; 350,000 (depending on which skewed speech Our Fearless Reader is reading will also help bring it to a halt)

Read a story just the other day that these crapweasels in the 111th Klownposse in DC are getting hell at home over the C(r)ap and Trade(off) - imagine going home, what is it - next weekend - after passing the final nail in the Free, Independent, Constitutional America coffin - these morons won’t get elected dog catcher.

And there is one way for all the wienies in the US who are afraid to vote anything other than D or R - just make sure that neither party has the majority in the House and Senate. Maybe then we can either have nothing done or once again get something done.

BTW, Dirty Harry slipped the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act into the Defense Authorization bill (as did someone else slipped in a F-22 funding amendment) - guess now the new game in town is to stick so much stink on at the end - that no sane person on either side will vote for it.

Sad to say - it didn’t work for the Generational Theft Act nor the C(r)ap and Trade(off) - so I’m afraid we have no more real public servants nor representatives who give a damn about our economy, our rights or our freedom.

My local crapweasel who claimed to be against C&T voted for it for 30 pieces of silver - bet he needs to set up a company to work in when he becomes a one termer.

  4. Pretty much screams that their program can’t stand up to ANY competition, so they’ll just effectively outlaw competition because they’re the government.

*spit* Bastards.  This is exactly what I have to put up with in the Province of Ontario in Canada.  Some things I’d happily pay for to get them faster/better, but I can’t because the government won’t allow that.

Then, because “they’re paying for our healthcare” (no you fools, we’re all paying, and more than we should be because you’re running it), they start controlling other areas of our lives because if we do it our way, we increase our risks, and thus they have to provide more healthcare.

My response to that:  You won’t let me opt out of your crappy, slow, expensive healthcare system, so up yours.
