So I take it the Wife here is not filing charges because she does not want to lose her gravy lifestyle( minus the beating of course)???
Whatever, just another angry black man taking it out on an innocent.Or maybe she is a she devil and deserved a good wack.Who knows, and frankly,I don’t care. Let the courts decide, they get paid for the job.Not defending the guy, but just for the record:

His lawyer asked for and got what’s called pretrial intervention—a chance to avoid a conviction if Rice fulfills a set of requirements ordered by the court. Most states have a remedy like this for first-time offenders. It’s like a one-time Get Out of Jail Free card—a chance to come away with a clean record if you do as you’re told and stay out of trouble for a prescribed amount of time. In Rice’s case, the prosecutor and the judge agreed to pretrial intervention with the requirements of anger management counseling and probationary supervision for a year.
Is that an unheard-of outcome for an offender who did what Rice did? New Jersey’s court rules say that when a defendant who applies for pretrial intervention has “deliberately” committed a violent crime, he or she should “generally be rejected.” But that doesn’t mean this kind of outcome hasn’t happened in other domestic violence cases. “It’s not all that unusual,” said Jane Shivas, executive director of the New Jersey Coalition for Battered Women. She pointed out that pretrial intervention involves both a carrot and a stick. It offers a chance for rehabilitation, while holding on to the leverage of prosecution for the original charges if the offender blows it again.”
Same state (NJ) that is charging a (black) single mother [I only mention that here since it is pertinent to the entire story - as all the Rice players are black] - because of her carrying with a legal PA carry permit in NJ. Now, not completely innocent - but she didn’t brandish the weapon, but was pulled over and told police she had the pistol in the car. Same judge and DA.
She was simply stupid and should have checked before carrying into NJ - Rice could have killed his then fiancee.
But those gun owners are really a dangerous threat to the law-abiding innocents out there - and must be stopped.
People are really sad and pathetic in their stupidity - the kid who shot 3 in an OH high school escaped from prison - and on twitter all the girls are sooooooo in love with him because he is sooooooo cute and damn - we all make mistakes.
I can’t abide by women who will support a known wife abuser (I supported OJ - but not because of the previous accusations but for many other reasons) - they are enabling him (et al) and encouraging them. Stupid, stupid women.
Now Adrian Peterson has been charged in ‘beating’ his son - the foaming at the mouth liberals are after football. Liberals politicize everything - everything.

Apparently Peterson was raised by the ‘spare the child, spoil the child’ religious discipline - and now is in jeopardy of losing a NFL career over it - possibly at the hands of vindictive ex.
I had worse injuries as a kid - horses - a single fall can make you look like you’d been beaten with a baseball bat.
I just thank God I wasn’t raised in these idiotic and crazy times.
Meanwhile in Chicago - how many women and children were shot dead - this week? Anybody???

The Cincinnati Bengals have kept Devon Still on the practice squad so that he would have income while his daughter is going through cancer treatment.
His jersey is up for sale with the proceeds going to Cincinnati Childrens Hospital - it is $100 - and as soon as we can scrape the money together I will get one.
