1. what the hell is orange flower water? *confused*

   Stayed up just long enough to watch the ball drop then went to bed. Woke up around 8ish. Slight headache but nothing major. Hell I only had one screwdriver and a Bud Light. (Open to suggestions for a good replacement of cheap beer for those reading Bud Light and immediately wanting to chastise me for drinking ‘horse piss’)

6. Call me whiny, but I think I would have to take the hangover over EITHER of those.  Not that I don’t appreciate the Skipper’s kind concern for my well being.  I’m just saying...raw eggs?  <shudder>

   OCM - Only time I’ve been around pot smoke is at rock concerts. I didn’t mind the smell, I got a bit of a buzz, but my stomach felt like hell. Was that cause I’m not used to it or cause they were using some cheap crap?

9. Actually, if you are waking up the next morning after and you’re hungover, it’s too late to do much about it.  What’s always worked for me is to drink several glasses of water and take 2 aspirin before I go to bed after drinking a lot. Of course, this means you will probably need to get up and urinate in the middle of the night.  But it’s better then feeling like death for much of the next day.  Seems the main cause of a hangover is dehydration.  Popping a few vitamin C tabs wouldn’t hurt either.  The worst case scenario is that you will be hungover but not nearly as bad you would be hurting if you don’t hydrate.  Avoid large quantities of Tequila, Champagne, and/or Cognac which caused me the worst hangovers I ever had.  The Cognac was one of the worst, it stored itself in my fat cells and when I drank water the next morning I was drunk all over again!  Champagne caused the worst headache and Tequila was nasty because one would belch and taste Tequila the next morning and probably just barf at that point… Now I just stick to high quality scotch or aged whiskey and maybe a beer or two.  This year it snowed so the wifey wouldn’t drive my worthless ass home, so no heavy drink to usher in 2006 this time around!

10. I have to jump on board with MJS.  I always do that after a night that might prove, by morning, to be ‘too much’.  Water and pain reliever has always helped me, immensely.  But, it has to be a lot of water.  Like MOOSE cups of it.  (And another cup when you get up to pee)

    I also ‘hear’ that the chaser pills they sell are supposed to work pretty well, but never tried them.

12. I couldn’t drink heavily this year because I had church the next morning, and I had to drive home.  All I had was some egg nog with Bacardi in it.
