NJ passes more useless gun control bills, just waiting for Governor Corzine (D-Socialist) to sign them.

1. This sounds like a good candidate for the US Supreme Court.  I hope somebody in NJ pushes this one through the courts before the end of 2008…

2. It’d be nice if I thought the governor was honest enough to give you a plain, honest reply. Something along the lines of, “Hey, as you pointed out, it’s not really enforceable in a practical sense anyway, so it’s not really going to impact anyone, whether legal gun owners, criminals or what have you. It’s just fluff to get the anti-gun idiots to shut up and get off my back for a year or two so I can get some REAL work done. So just butt out, will ya?”
   But alas, the idea of a politician being that honest and plain-spoken is an even bigger fantasy than the idea of such an idiotic law cutting down on crime.

3. I agree with Grumpy, but for different reasons.

   See, if the politicians can ban the guns of law-abiding citizens, then they will benefit from the prosecution and conviction of law-abiding citizens.

   Ergo, they were tough on crime.
