Now why the hell doesn’t this surprise me?
Vote them all out. Any candidate who does not pledge to cut spending, limit government, and reduce taxes does not deserve a vote. Doesn’t matter what party they’re with. Any incumbent whose record does not show such behavior at least 80% of the time does not deserve reelection. It’s really that simple. Ok, they should also be for securing the borders, RKBA, unfettered free speeech, repealing/limiting Kelo, and attracting new jobs to the country or to their home state by lowering business taxes and stupid regulations. But that still makes it simple. This platform works from the town council level right up to the White House, it is neither conservative nor progressive; it is merely responsible.
Want my vote? Earn it. Each and every election.
It’s put up or shut up time for President Bush. He simply has to veto this bill, or spend the remainder of his presidency being condemned by his former supporters and ridiculed by his opponents. Does he have the moxie? We shall see.
Well, at least not all of the Republicans were little piggies.
