2. And those are all opium poppies. The flowers come in several different colors, not just red.

   It would be interesting to see how modern Britain goes about the milking process. It just isn’t go to pay to have a lone farmer out there with a jackknife cutting each pod and then coming by a day later to scrape off the ooze. There has to be a better way, some kind of machine.

3. MM are you some kind of hippie (lol) I remember the fuss in the press about morning glory being used by hippies, and some good cartoons too, I agree with you about what you would miss, I still do!!
