  2. Pods.

    That’s what I saw… pods.

    Vilmar is a pod-person. He’s been snatched.

(I know a bad joke is here somewhere...)

    Thanks Pod-Vilmar. Needed the laugh.

  3. Speaking of pods.....my angel trumpet bush (6 feet high, 8 feet wide) is FULL of PODS.  In threee days they’ll all be dozens of beautiful 6” belled trumpets

  5. *looks at the flowers* Hey, you’re in FL and I don’t see any gardenias. What gives?

(J/k Vilmar. Before Hurricane Andrew did its number in Miami, mi abuelita had this 6’ tall gardenia tree in her front yard. That damn tree in full bloom would knock you over practically from the street)

  6. Nice Piccies.
    But............Lantana?

In my part of the world, Lantana is a noxious weed.

If the envioro weed police found that stuff in my garden I would be in deep doodoo.

  7. r-send, depends on where you live.  Lantana is easily controlled here.  I’ve not had problems with it spreading.

Furthermore, the definition of a weed is this:  something growing where you don’t want it.

What I consider weeds:  evening primrose; october rose; cypress vine.  Stuff spreads everywhere.

  9. With all those beautiful flowers you should be getting some butterflies.........the monarchs love milkweed and lantana.......After last years dreadful summer hailstorms my butterfly garden suffered.........Hopefully this year will be better........The overwintering of the monarchs in Mexico suffered a great deal and the state of the monarch population is down tremendously.......One only hopes it will get better.......

  10. Dottie, I’ve already got monarchs flying around depositing eggs.  I saw them do it yesterday. And you know they are very territorial, right?  It’s funny to watch their aeriasl combat over their “space.”
