Pat Condell. Need I say more?

Condell has an extraordinary clarity of expression that not only communicates his ideas well, it makes listening to them a pleasure.
Funny thing, he’s actually my idea of what a real liberal should be, with his solid respect for the sanctity of the individual. It’s hugely different from modern Liberals who try to enforce rigid standards of behavior. What the Liberals can’t seem to understand, is that Condell speaks of real respect, not enforced uniformity to avoid giving offense.
Can’t argue with you Dr. Jeff. He’s so popular on my Facebook page that my distant cousin (who used to babysit me) wants him to run for President. Obviously he’s not eligible. Have to say, I wouldn’t be adverse to a Pat Condell Administration. He’s my ideal of a classical liberal. Like Thomas Jefferson.
For decades I have had nothing but contempt for the left hijacking the term “Liberal” for themselves. As you saw in BW’s video the term has meant in classic terms the pursuit of new ideas that promote the advancement of Man as a creature who can determine his own fate by molding and shaping his world to his own vision.What these New Liberals believe is that certain Men must take it on themselves to direct men to whatever vision they decide is proper and to their own advantage. Anyone with a free mind can see the difference and the inherent Evil of the latter.

A much more accurate term for Liberals would be neo Fascist.
True Dr. Jeff. But that doesn’t let us make fun of them. Ends the discussion, if you will. I prefer to keep it open so as to lob sanity and truth into the liberal camp. Then just sit back and watch them scramble!

There’s nothing funny about Fascists, new or old.
I’ve made multiple attempts at dialog with various Liberals I’ve known. The typical response I’ve gotten can be summed up as: “Don’t you dare confuse me with facts, you racist murdering asshole.” During the Obamacare debate, I was informed that the only possible reason I could oppose Obamacare was because I was afraid of a strong black man.
I actually spent most of my life identifying as a Liberal, but over the years, the Liberals got crazier and crazier. They embraced coercive measures I couldn’t stomach and ceased to be open to differing ideas. If it wasn’t their party line, it got shouted down. By the time Bill Clinton ran for President, I was voting a straight Republican ticket.
My final break with Liberals came during the Clinton Admin when I made the mistake of pointing out that Bill Clinton had actually met the legal requirement for impeachment. This was at a gathering of (literally) Hollywood Liberals. Several took to screaming various curses at me and one had to be restrained from physically attacking me. I haven’t been invited back to the hostess’s house since.
When I debate something with a Conservative, at the very least, we have a proper discussion without ad hominem attacks. The way I see things, that actually makes the Liberals conservative and the Conservatives liberal.

btw - Thank you Pieper. Commies are commies. They have their own unique issues and problems, rather like dealing with a secular version of the Jihadis. Communists usually understand what they’re actually doing, Liberals don’t.
Dr. Jeff, I suspect you are, like me, a classical Liberal. Like Thomas Jefferson, JFK, and indeed the late and lamented Ronald Reagan. Jefferson started the Democrat Party. Reagan left the Democrats because they left him. Democrats today are not Liberal. They are totalitarians who want to control all aspects of private life. Harry Reid is a perfect example. I’m ashamed he’s a Mormon.
