‘pass’ language exam without speaking.

 

1. I suppose next will be a plan to enable students to pass physical fitness classes without being able to: do a pushup, run farther than to the ice cream machine or dress without becoming breathless?

   Again, in the spirit of progressiveness, the new penmanship test will allow pupils to use a word processor.

   Why not?  There’s already mechanisms in place to assure one a living wage and life style without working, right?
