  1. Sad to say I don’t think that this will change things much at all. I do not think Father Fidel has been in charge of much of anything for a while (if even alive). It would be nice if all the ex-pats would rise up and assist their former homeland into the 21st century - but I don’t see that happening at all either. . .the best I see is Cuba becoming like Puerto Rico - all the bennies without being the 51st state. . .shucks while we are at it, why not include Mexico - they all have been sucking us dry for decades -

Meanwhile all the politicos here can’t seem to figure out why our own Budget can’t get balanced, why we seem to falling farther and farther behind - they might scream about being the ‘police’ of the World or ‘empire’ building - but in reality the US is the Welfare Office of the World and it is killing us. . .and the have nots of the World hate us for it.

So let’s have a win-win situation and cut the money teat off and start taking care of our own legal citizens only. . .I can hear the howling now. Or is that squalling?!?

  2. Castro stepping down won’t bring the golden age, but at least it’s a step in the right direction.  It wasn’t that long ago that most of the problems around the world seemed to have Cuban “Advisors” attached to them.

Right now, my biggest question is how far will Cuban reform have to go before I can get a good Romeo y Julietta without paying black market prices?

  3. Dr. Jeff - not long if a D wins - you know that they are salivating at the prospect of normalizing ‘relations’ with Cuba (expect to see a McCain-Kerry bill along that lines sometime shortly after January ‘09, if the ‘maverick’ loses). . .

  4. I can’t wait until those two Dirty Fuckin’ Communist Sons of Bitches (my former mother-in-law would say Son of a Bitches) DIE!

  5. He didn’t make his fiftieth anniversary of blood, sweat and tears, but his tyranny did outlast Uncle Joes’s by 24 years or so, and it outlasted Moose Dung’s tyranny amongst the Chicomms as well.

Maybe he thinks that is a worthwhile legacy and maybe not, but I guarantee that he never forgot what Khruschchev showed him in 1963, that is, that he was only the screwtail of the Communist pig.

    LOL

  6. Adios, Pendejo.... Vaya con Diablo

(And let’s not forget the hard rock “angry white boys” sweet little musical ditty from a couple years ago, in reference to certain islamofascist arse-holes who were sent off to meet allah, far ahead of their schedule. heheheheheheh)

    Die M@therF%#*er Die....

It was posted here and over at Rottweiler’s Empire.

    Yes, we have no dictators,

    we have no dictators today…
