  1. Perfect peiper, I have something we should all read ,just as a reminder of the world we live in. Here’s a clip;
    “Paris. Coming soon to a location near you. Mumbai, Beslan, and a thousand others, we’ve seen this before, and we’ll see it again.

    On the personal, local level, this is another example of why you should carry a gun. No, we don’t expect every permit holder to be a Navy SEAL, just a speed bump. The best way to stop a mass shooter is an immediate violent response. At best, you drop them before they can hurt too many people. At worst, congratulations you were a distraction, but even distractions can save lives or derail plans.

    Running is great. I’ll never fault somebody who chooses to run or hide when bad things happen. Every one of us has a different level of training, knowledge, and commitment, and what is the right answer for you, isn’t the right answer for your grandma. If you are the kind of person to get involved, you need to have a clue. However, since the only constant of gunfights is that they suck for somebody, you can do everything right and still die. On the bright side you at least bought everybody else some time.

    For the pacifistic anti-gun dumb asses on the internet who always crop up in the aftermath of any violent event, bitching about imaginary crossfires, or how fighting back would just make things worse. Just shut up already. You’re children, with a child’s grasp of the subject. When people are being mass butchered, barring tossing hand grenades at the bad guy, it is pretty damned hard to make it worse.”
    Read the rest here ,as they say:

  2. So when Captain FAIL says we are not afraid I guess he means himself and the mouse in his pocket,,,,,,Fucking Moron!!!
    “Nov 23rd he says;
    The most powerful tool we have to fight ISIL is to say that we’re not afraid. To not elevate them and to somehow buy into their fantasy that they’re doing something important.
    Nov 24th this happens on behalf of us all;
    “The State Department issued a world-wide travel advisory for Americans due to ISIL terrorism.”
    It would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic. Jan 20th 2017 seems farther away than ever.
    wtf

  3. Is this something? I think it might become something if someone doesn’t do something to slow this train the fuck down!!!
    “Watching events unfold along the Turkish border this morning, you can’t help but wonder if real flag officers are having similar thoughts.  Within a matter of minutes, a Turkish F-16 shot down a Russian SU-24 Fencer after it entered the country’s airspace, and ignored 10 warnings to turn back.  The two-man crew ejected from the jet, but were shot as they descended in their parachutes by Turkish rebels operating along the border.
    Then, the Russians dispatched a search-and-rescue (SAR) helicopter to pick up the downed airmen.  But members of the Free Syrian Army--a rebel group backed by the U.S.--shot down the chopper, reportedly using an American-made TOW missile.  At least one member of the helicopter crew was killed.”

  4. Rich ... damn well said in your comments sir. Appreciated.
    Tried the link and it opened okay ... but trying to scroll down to advance read got an hourglass that hung around like forever.  So ... tried closing the page to return here and only got a frozen screen. So did hard shutdown and rebooted, only to find my browser, Firefox, doing me the unasked favor of trying to restore the previous session.
    So ended with frozen screen a 2nd time.
    I don’t think there is anything wrong with the link. I think maybe my pc is just taking too long to load the link and I could not end the task.  Curious about that. Why would Windows have a feature that says I can “End Task” if it doesn’t actually do that? It just shows another line that says .... end task.

    I really need a newer faster puter. Though I was going to get another desktop, but heck. At my age I think a good laptop better and less wires running everywhere.

    I’ll try that link again later and wait for it to fill properly. Which Im really thought I had done. Looks very interesting.
    Cheers

    Small bite; The Christian communities of the Middle East date back more than 1,700 years, to before the birth of Mohammed. As recently as a decade ago, Christians of various persuasions – Assyrian, Orthodox, Armenian, Catholic – constituted some ten percent of the Syrian population. There were an estimated million Christians in Iraq. Many observers believe these ancient communities will be entirely gone within a few years. IS will have achieved its goal to “erase their presence from the Middle East.”
