1. This reminds me of a point Ann Coulter made the other day:

   “...maybe propose re-opening the bonuses paid to Franklin Raines and Jamie Gorelick for their yeoman’s work running Fannie Mae into the ground and then collecting bonuses of $90 million and $24.7 million, respectively.”

2. From what I see the cartoon should have them all facing the other way and rowing away from recovery, in fact even the oars are light duty, the drive away from common sense (if the intention was recovery and I do not believe that) is so demented and hellbent only an atomic powered outboard would suffice in the cartoon.

   You’re right and to tell the truth, I didn’t spot that analogy at all. Gee, talk about dim I must have been dead asleep or maybe dead.

   Damn ... Drew (I think) would know how to fix that.
