1. The Russians have botched the Chechen problem for years (not to mention terror in general) and now they are paying the price. Any word on Putin cutting off funding for Iran’s nuclear projects? I haven’t heard any.

   If Putin starts playing hardball with terrorists in general, including cutting off Iran and getting on board with us on Iraq (Oil for Fraud, anyone? Russia was in bed with Saddam too let’s not forget), then we should get behind him fully. In the meantime, I support letting Putin do what needs to be done against Chechnya, but if he’s not on board with the terror wars in general, then I must question his motives in Chechnya since day one, massacre or not.

   I hope that makes sense. I don’t mean to nuance .

   I am all for crushing child murderers and kicking asses that need to be kicked. However, I suspect the Russians are handling Chechnya as an isolated problem instead of a global Islamic threat, and I have a hard time supporting such a narrow view on their part.

2. Putin, I believe, has come to the realization of exactly your last question.

   Because 10 of the terrorists were Arab foreigners, and the way he told off Powell.

   Powell is such a fricking pussy, he really pisses me off sometimes.

   Yeah Russia, we can do it, but you had better negotiate.

   BAH, what a crock of crap.

   Let the Russian dogs loose on the terrorists, the more the merrier as far as I am concerned.

   They are not PC like we are, they will make a KILLER ally, because they can do things, that we just can’t. Such as blow up and destroy Holy Shrines.

   A terrorist group takes over a shrine, say Okey dokey, cya later, old Ivan is gonna come visit you instead.

3. It’s about time that Putin comes over to Bush’s side in fighting terriorism..........perhaps the two of them together can convince the rest of the world that we are on the right track........

4. This affords W with a golden opportunity. He can throw some bucks at Putin and ally
   with and Putin can send a division to Iraq,
   while we send something to Chechnya. He should have Putin here asap for a Summit on
   Terror. The MSM would choke.
