Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......Not to be disrespectful, but if my memory serves me right our kind, gentle, compassionate, conservative Sec. of War led us on a wild goose chase back in July when he led us all to believe he was on a “vacation” in Cancun............and who was the one that discovered his real whereabouts due to his not so subtle clues????????????????..............gotcha, didn’t I, back then............ Since the conventions are over, I have no doubt that our Benevolent Dictator is where he said he would be- visiting a new grandbaby........I hope he is having a wonderful time.........

    OBTW, Son, daughter-in-law, and grand-daughter are all doing well.  Taking lots of photos.  Having a good time. (plus it is nice and cool at night!---as opposed to Florida!)

Vilmar- happy that you are having a good time- when you get back you must post a picture of your grand-daughter..........My son, daughter-in-law and grandbaby Helena moved back here to St. Louis from Florida in March (and now say that they are glad that they did considering what has been going on in FL with the hurricanes)......Anyway, I have fallen head over heels in love with this little girl, now 27 months old- she has become the most precious thing to me- I never knew that I could feel this way about a baby -
    What a glorious feeling.......and what fun to shop for a girl after having 2 boys myself......

Barb- I hope you have a wonderful time in the great city of St. Louis!!  Next weekend - 9/18- is the Greast Forest Park Balloon Race- an entire day of festivities in Forest Park with the balloon race usually lifting off at 5pm.......The hounds (balloons) chase the hare (the Energizer Bunny Balloon) - the balloon that drops a marker closest to where the Energizer Bunny balloon lands wins the race......Of course it is weather permitting (usually a great weekend) and the winds will determine which way they go.  Friday night is the Balloon Glow - all the balloons inflate from 6-9pm..........I have gotten some spectacular pictures over the years- I love this event!!  But whatever you do for the weekend I sure do hope you have a great time!!
