Now it’s methane that will kill us all

  1. Hell, they were drilling for this stuff on History Channel’s “Ice Road Truckers” show. Works, too.

*This is what I was reduced to watching when I was offline for 2 1/2 months*

  2. Typical.  The Greenies don’t want us to use the traditional fuels and then shut down the alternatives.  Following their ideas, will result in a drastic reduction in the number of humans on the planet.  How much of our civilization could be supported on “non polluting” forms of energy?  Even if you set up massive solar panels, what about their environmental impact?  A large area wouldn’t receive sunlight.  What would that do to the flora and fauna?  Wind turbines?  Talk to Senator Kennedy about that one, or some of the folks here in California who want the existing wind turbines torn down for killing birds, being noisy and messing up the view of the landscape.  Biofuels?  Nice idea, but they still release carbon dioxide and other pollutants - also expect someone to find heavy metals and toxic carbon compounds in their waste stream.  Don’t even mention the word nuclear.  Here come the Greenies.  In the end, we won’t even be able to use any form of power.  I don’t like the idea of living in a dark, unheated cave, getting my drinking and bathing water from mudholes and hunting for my food with stone weapons.

  3. I think we should find out how many calories of heat are contained in your average range-fed Greenie when burned. It would be for science!

  4. So if all this methane is bubbling up, MAYBE IT WAS ALL ALONG.....

....and that means that WE may not be the ones to ‘blame’ for all this.

Which brings even more questions to the validity of the global climate models.

  5. Oh yes its been bubbing up alright probably for the whole age of the earth, just like the oil seeps of CA coast (and many other places) that put more oil in the sea everyday than we ever have, but you won’t find the environazis ever mentioning that fact.

  6. And of course, they completely fail to mention that methane is unstable, that it breaks down into carbon dioxide and water over just a very few days…
