I can’t claim credit for the term “Stuck on Stupid”. I heard it from General Russel L. Honoré during the Hurricane Katrina incident, when he was addressing the media and chastising them for focusing on the failures in the levies, and NOT focusing on the preparatory message he was trying to get out to the people who needed to prepare for what was coming next. As to Liz’s obvious sense of entitlement: Something about old dogs and new tricks. Seriously, if she hasn’t learned by now that past monies are long ago squandered, and there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch in this world, and that things get done when you do them yourself… She isn’t going to learn it now. I doubt even General Honoré could get through to her.
May her final days be as good as they can be though, I wish her no ill will.
