4. Not only is it possible, it’s even likely.  Small boats, tramp steamers, freight aircraft, shipping containers, all possible, even reasonable delivery methods for nuclear weapons to the United States.  The truly nasty aspect is that after the explosion(s) there would be little or no evidence of the the country of origin, therefore, limited or no opportunity for payback.

   The secondary aspect is the subtle sense of politics and timing possesed by our Islamist adversaries.  That level of thinking is entirely within their capabilities and worldview.  What do we have to counter them with?  Very little.  Most of our diplomacy is based on the concept of mutual benefit or the fear of destruction.  In the case of the Islamists, they don’t care about any benefit they can get from us and see death in the cause of bringing us down as a guarantee of heaven.  Until someone shows me some practical method of diverting or stopping these guys without resorting to violence I will advocate that we slaughter them without hesitation whenever and wherever we encounter them.

5. A scary story.

   The sequel is the utter elimination of Muslims in the US.
   (Yes, you have freedom of religion. Now you have the freedom to answer for your religious cousins’ misdeeds.)

   It would be time to use the full force of the US military.
   There would be retaliatory strikes as soon as the scenario is figured out.
   The complete destruction of North Korea and Iran is likely, possibly by nuclear weapons. (I know I would use them with hesitation, aslo against any terrorist locations - like in Pakistani mountains.)

   Kill them all, and let Allah sort them out.

6. This is truly a nightmare scenario.
   Unfortunately, it is not implausible.
   We need to take steps to assure this does not happen. Can we affect something to avert this type of situation with the Dems in power?
   Who knows?

7. Most of the suppositions for the scenario in the story are already in place. It is happening as this story suggests. The NorK’s have developed the small nuke. The Mad Mullahs are developing the missle tech. And we have Dems in the Congress now discussing the nature of their retreat and appeasement.

9. I’ve been thinking about this scenario.
   It has one large hole in it.

   It’ one thing to build a nuke. It’s quite another to miniaturize it to fit on a missle. And a cruise missle? Even smaller.
   I just do not believe the North Koreans have progressed that far.

   Their weapons technology development is more likely like Saddam’s - just a bunch of “yes men” who feed the Great Leader what he wants to hear.

Captain, that’s why I keep thinking about shipping containers and tramp steamers or even pleasure craft.  Even a crude nuclear device could easily be transported that way.  Any thought what even 5 or 10 kiloton nukes would do to places like L.A. Harbor, Galveston, New York Harbor, San Francisco Bay or Puget Sound?  If that list isn’t scary enough, a bit of thought will give you plenty more.

11. Hmmm...Ways to deal with the muslim threat without wholesale slaughter.  Let’s see:

    1.  Negotiate with them.  Nah, they’d lie to their mother if it furthered their goal.

    2.  Educate them in the ways of peace and coexistance.  Yeah, that’ll work-NOT!

    3.  Economic sanctions.  Remind me, WHO owns all the oil?

    4.  “Westernize” them.  They’ll go along with that 10 minutes after Hell freezes over.

    Nope.  Near as I can tell it looks like wholesale slaughter by a landslide.
