  1. In some parts of the world, apparently, it is 2005 B.C. and not A.D.

    Poor devils!

    wink

  2. Now wait just a gul-durn cottin-pickin minute here, Skipper. The liberal mainstream media explicitly states on a daily basis that only red-state Bush supporters are incredibly stupid. Third-world foreigners are supposed to be respected and revered.

  3. Especially these, Jester.  Any number of self-anointed “intellectuals” have, over many years, asserted that we have MUCH to learn from the “culture” in question here.

In terms of culture, I’ve seen more interesting cultures growing in Petri dishes.

And if this is any example of what we have to learn, thanks but no thanks.

    wink

  4. This explains the quality of phone-in tech support.

  5. True story; I can supply witnesses.

When I was in VNam the rumor got out among my old circle at school that I was dead.  These were not close friends & didn’t know my parents. But, when I returned, I had the spectacle of jaws dropping in the library.  I got to quote Mark Twain, to the effect that rumors of my death were greatly exaggerated.

I had no problem convincing people that I was alive.

  6. And the Dems are just the opposite - they really ARE dead, but just don’t realize it yet.

  7. Maybe that’s why they shun crosses and the light of day, Rick?

    LOL

  8. I’m reminded of the occasional newspaper stories about unfortunate folks who have their Social Security checks stopped because of alleged death. Mike Royko had a column about a poor schlub who appealed, in person, his termination of benefits due to alleged death.  Denied.

One of my clients answered a VA letter requesting his date of death with, “I don’t know yet”.
