I totally agree with you. When I was in grade school in the sixties, we learned the proper way to lose. To be courteous, congratulate the victor, and not whine about it. We lived to try to win another day. Kids today don’t know how to lose. They’ve had everything handed to them, and it totally sucks. My grandchildren will know how to lose, if I have to do it myself. And I probably will.
I can especially relate to that last story Vilmar...I lost in a spelling bee way back in 7th grade because I spelled “trough” t-r-o-f-f! Yep I lost and I congratulated the girl who defeated me.
No kid deserves to be left behind. Those parents who fail to raise their child correctly, especially when they let the child do whatever they want and give them everything, DO need to be left behind. Twerp knows who I’m referring to, right Twerp?
