  1. yep some liberals are a crazy bunch.. deal with them a lot on the forum I administer, just wish there were a couple liberals there like OCM who are reasonable and think a little and care to debate instead of just going into pure nastiness mode..anybody want to check it out it’s the link I have.. the above sounds similar to 1 of the threads on the local newspaper’s forum(which is pretty full of loonmies, but with a NYT owned paper and a university town what can you expect? :( ) http://www.gainesvilleforum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=632

ohh well enough for a shameless plug LOL..sometimes it’s hard being republicans in a left leaning town, or helping with the forums for a conservative talk show there either..

  5. OK, lets count the dead.
    http://recruiterconfession.blogspot.com/

Now, here is the thing that pisses me off the most about what the left has to say. They always talk about the civilian deaths. They often cite a study that claims 100,000 Iraqi Civilians have died since the war began. What they fail to tell you is that the margin of error is plus or minus 90,000 as the linked story reports. So how many Iraqi civilians have really died? Well there is only one organization that is keeping a count. Iraq Body Count.org claims the number is somewhere between 27,295 to 30,798. The problem is that they use news reports to count the casualties and are prone to double counting. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that there have been 30,000 civilian casualties in Iraq since the start of the war. Any civilian casualty is regrettable, but please read further.

Saddam’s Baath Party took power in 1968 after assonating the Iraqi Leader Qasim. Newly discovered documents inside of Iraq indicates that the Baath party is responsible for 5 million civilian deaths inside the country of Iraq. Since the Baath party was in power for 35 years, that means they averaged 142,000 civilian deaths per year. Saddam took power in 1979, he is responsible for 3,408,000 civilain deaths. But lets just remember 142,000 deaths per year and move on.

Operation Iraqi Freedom has been going on for 35 months now. So if we look at the 30,000 total civilian deaths since the begining of the war, we can conclude that there has been an average of 10,000 civilian deaths per year after Saddam’s ass was kicked.

    Lets think about this:
142,000 average number of civilian deaths per year by Saddam
10,000 average number of civilian deaths per year by the United States

    142,000 - 10,000 = 132,000 civilian lives SAVED EVERY YEAR.

Multiply by 2.9 and you get 382,800 civilian lives SAVED SINCE THE BEGINING OF THE WAR!

The left wants to say that we should leave Iraq because of the civilian death toll, that we should have never have gone there because we’ve “done more harm than good”!

I’ll tell you what, freeing 24 MILLION people from Saddam and giving them the same freedoms we enjoy, as well as SAVING 382,800 civilian lives feels PRETTY FUCKING GOOD!!!

  6. And I’m betting a lot of the people claiming high Iraqi Civilian death counts are also including the Terrorist scum victims of intradiction or their car bombs....

  7. Liberal Left-wing mootbats:  heavy on hot air...light on real facts.

  8. This guy’s claiming censorship?? What a pile! With today’s unchecked left-wing media machine going full force — not to mention the fact that every right wing blog out there allows and publishes the hate mail sent to and posted on them — there’s no such thing as censorship against the Left in this day and age. This guy needs to pull his head out and realize that the 60’s are over no matter how badly he and his ilk woefully wish them to be back every day!  angry

  9. Heh, bet Mr. Rawdealrecords won’t show up for the gun fight, should anyone care to invite him.

Best to ignore the trolls. Most of the liberal ilk have depleted rational powers - ‘cept for OCM.

  10. I’m curious as to why he didn’t post on a thread. We could have shown him the light. Okay, maybe that’s why.

There’s definitely censorship on the left: I was recently banned from this site. The site owner prattled on about the first amendment and banned me. I didn’t get to reply to his post. When I asked why I was banned he made some comment likening my posts to crapping on his living room carpet. I admit to being surprised that he didn’t delete my posts. Perhaps he hasn’t figured out how.

Oh well. I showed them the truth and got banned for it.

It’s not that I didn’t know what I was talking about, I researched the subject pretty well for a guest article I wrote on this blog.

  11. Bodies of those braver than myself?

I volunteered. In 1989. And i have the permanent damage to my legs, pension, and the VA service-connected ID card to show for it.

I’ve got news for you, wonder boy. Most of the people in the military are republicans. Moonbat solcialist democrats are the ones that sit on their rumps and expect someone else to do the dirty work.

  12. Not to mention the fact that I was banned from this lefty blog as well, Stinkerr. Of course, the site admin claims nothing of the sort… right before suddenly claiming that I called him a “faggot” crazy

  14. Dimmycrats do seem to have selective memories. Guess this one forgot about Viet Nam - you know, that little fracas a few years back that got 53,000+ Americans killed, the one that Kennedy and Johnson escalated us into.

  17. OCM, that’s because you (and I) don’t have Presidential and/or Pentagon Top Secret security clearance. Only those people know/knew 100% of the reasons why we went to both wars… zipper
