Hey, I visited the AFCAF museum last April and got there just as they were taking up a group in the B-17. Still kicking myself that I didn’t take the ride. Did get some great close-up video of them though.
BTW: If you ever want to take a warbird ride, DO IT SOON. I was standing at the hanger taping the takeoff when several of the volunteers started chatting about how the insurance companies were doing everying they could to shut down all the warbird rides across the country. They are spiking the rates and in some cases, refusing to issue further insurance. They all agreed that it won’t be long before all the restored warbirds are locked in the hangers.

they have allready killed all old aircraft rides in Eurostan- any plane taking up passengers has to carry the same safety equiptment as a 2008 passenger jet, where do you stick the inflatable escape shute on a Lancaster?? (up the helth and safeties backside and inflate!!)
