  8. Thanks for those pics. They make it obvious that there isn’t a cage big enough to hold all the anit-Bush protesters. There are so many they clog up the streets of Manhattan. One little weeny cage for the 7 Repub protesters was all that was needed in Boston. And, ahem, you’re just now noticing that corralling the protesters in a “Free Speech” Zone far from the action is a BAD thing? Who do you think has been doing that for the last 4 years? Starts with “B”, ends with “ush”.

  9. "Thanks for those pics. They make it obvious that there isn’t a cage big enough to hold all the anit-Bush protesters. There are so many they clog up the streets of Manhattan.”

Well, if they got Michael Moore to leave, it’d probably free up at least two lanes, I think?  What’s an “anit” Bush, by the way? A “nit” Bush?  A nit-picker of what Bush does? (confused)

“One little weeny cage for the 7 Repub protesters was all that was needed in Boston.”

Yeah, we Republicans know that protesting doesn’t accomplish much, so we generally don’t bother unless there’s nothing else to do.

“And, ahem, you’re just now noticing that corralling the protesters in a “Free Speech” Zone far from the action is a BAD thing? Who do you think has been doing that for the last 4 years? Starts with “B”, ends with “ush"."

    Hmmn....a “B”...and an “ush”...ummm...Congressman Bobby Rush? :>

  10. Well Norah I see you still have the freedom of free speech after four years of Bush. So tell me do you actually know any American citizen in this country that got arrested for speaking freely?

A cage for the pie in the sky count of 500,000 protesters is not that hard to build if they wanted to. I thinj Ellis Island would hold them. But they didn’t did they. Bush is not the big bad facist you all want to believe he is.

Maybe you should appreiciate the fact that in the weeks following 9/11 Bush could have declared martial law and done pretty much as he pleased the constitution be damned. That’s not the American way and Bush wouldn’t and didn’t.

You, Micheal Moore, Hollywood and the self proclaimed inteligencia need to grow up and get a life.

By the way if feel so strongly about this why aren’t you in the streets in NYC?

    Yeah, I’m shocked, too.

do you actually know any American citizen in this country that got arrested for speaking freely?

There was a couple from Texas who were arrested at a Bush event for wearing Kerry t-shirts. Also a guy who was arrested for refusing to go to the corral with the other protesters. Both cases were thrown out. And let’s not mention the loyalty oaths...and the cages…

A cage for the pie in the sky count of 500,000 protesters is not that hard to build
Yeah, Bob Vila? Let’s see it.

Maybe you should appreiciate the fact that in the weeks following 9/11 Bush could have declared martial law and done pretty much as he pleased
Oh. I guess I better shut my big liberal mouth because he might stage a coup if I piss him off. Oh wait...I don’t have to.

if feel so strongly about this why aren’t you in the streets in NYC?
I have a job. Why weren’t you in Boston?

  12. Dear Norah the Paranoid Troll,

    Q. “do you actually know any American citizen in this country that got arrested for speaking freely?

There was a couple from Texas who were arrested at a Bush event for wearing Kerry t-shirts. Also a guy who was arrested for refusing to go to the corral with the other protesters. Both cases were thrown out. And let’s not mention the loyalty oaths...and the cages...”

    A. You actually have first hand knowledge of this case, you actually know these people, you were there or have at least read the arrest reports? I don’t think so. You didn’t answer my question.

What about loyalty oaths? I’ve taken a couple oaths to up hold the constitution and laws of the state under both republican and democrat administrations. It has been a requirement for those in emergency service, holding elected and appointed public office, officers of the court, military service and others since way before I was born back when Truman was in office. I also had a choice not to take the oath or except the position. Off topic by the way.

Whats’s your point? What cages are we talking about, not the so called ones at Gitmo I’m sure. Way off topic.

    Q. “A cage for the pie in the sky count of 500,000 protesters is not that hard to build
Yeah, Bob Vila? Let’s see it.”

    A. Well I’ve seen and particpated in building refugee centers following the fall of Saigon, the Marial Boatlift and Hurricane Andrew. It can be done in a matter of hours, even without Bob Vila’s help…

    Q. “Maybe you should appreiciate the fact that in the weeks following 9/11 Bush could have declared martial law and done pretty much as he pleased
Oh. I guess I better shut my big liberal mouth because he might stage a coup if I piss him off. Oh wait...I don’t have to.”

    A. My point that you so partisanly left out was he didn’t do it, he didn’t even hint at it. Despite your big liberal mouth as you put it. He also didn’t spend 40 minutes in the Senate Breakroom wondering what to do.

    Q. “if feel so strongly about this why aren’t you in the streets in NYC?
I have a job. Why weren’t you in Boston?”

    A. That’s a good reason.

    As for me and Boston:

First off I don’t believe in senseless street theater, I make better use of my time and resources.

Second I’ve been to Boston once I wasn’t impressed then. I doubt I’d change my mind now.

I too have a job and family responsibilities…
