Military to use new gel that stops bullets.  (Science Fiction?  Not according to this report)

 

1. I saw a demonstration video of this stuff used inside of a flexible hat (touque?) and the person wearing it getting hit with a shovel.  He was fine.  O_o

   Very cool tech.

   Neat stuff.. and it looked like they were using a thin sheet, I wonder how a double layer would would react..
