  1. They must think that we are total ignoramuses and nincompoops!  Don't trust any of them as far as you can throw them.....they have richly deserved that distiction!!

  3. Not only that but they lied (no surprise again) about ‘not being able’ to deport the illegals in the country - you know the ones -
    hiding in the shadows
we don’t know where they are
how can we deport 12 million people - loved Ted’abridgetoofar’Kennedy’s busses running from New York to Calfornia and back comment - not quite sure why he said CA - but he’s killed so many brain cells with alcohol - I guess it made sense to him.

Yet in 1954 with just over 1,000 border agents President Eisenhower set off Operation Wetback (classic name - if only the pc police would allow us such names these days) and within deporting 500 illegals from CA and AZ - when the operation started moving into nearby states 800 illegals left on their own.

So do the math - start deporting and another 160% will leave on their own - works for me! And they did it without cable tv (PSA announcements people), computers, drones, or any of the technology we have today.

These people don’t enforce what was passed in
Hart-Celler Act, INS Act of 1965 (heavily supported by - no surprise - Ted Kennedy) which started chain migration.
    and
Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (Simpson-Mazzoli Act) - which granted amnesty and started daisy chain migration (extended relative migration).

So the laws in previous legislation (fining employers who hire illegals, deporting illegals found after certain date [amnesty period], securing the borders, etc) were never enforced - yet they claimed that these ‘new’ laws would be enforced

And both acts increased the numbers of ‘immigrants’ coming to the US by chain migration - far exceeding the ‘limits’ set by the laws themselves - yet they claim that these ‘new’ laws would not do that

And once again - the constant reference to deporting illegals - we can’t do it - has been proven able to do. . .Heck I do believe that even if we just enforced the laws we have - the rates would automatically go down.

    Raid, fine and punish employers.

Threaten school districts and colleges with withdrawal of federal funds for violating existing immmigration laws - stop them from enforcing in-state rates and district line violations with a vengenance but ignoring criminal illegal aliens with a passion.

Close the borders - something, anything would be better than the choice they offered us - an abomination bill that gave criminal illegal aliens more rights than citizens or nothing. There is so much ground in between. Try starting there.

So glad that this went down in flames - but I believe that the ususal suspects will try and sneak the most dangerous aspects of this abomination - onto other bills in the dark of night.

We must remain vigilent - America deserves no less.

  4. "hiding in the shadows
we don’t know where they are “

Wanna bet? Every American with open eyes knows where they are in their own town. It’s not like these people are hiding in caves in Afghanistan. Nobody has to play “Where’s Waldo” to find them.

Where are the illegals in your town? Where do they work and where do they live? Around here, they’re the grounds crew for my condo association. They’re the guys working for Mannon Pavers. They’re the cooks and cleaners at the Clinton Station diner. I swear there isn’t a shingle laid or a 2x4 nailed by an American in the whole county. They live in the apartments up over the dry cleaner down here on rt 173, and they live in the Flemington Arms apartment complex on North Main Street just outside of Flemington NJ - hell, they’ve taken that place over completely. You can always find a few hundred at the local Home Depot and Lowe’s too, both in Flemington and in Phillipsburg.

You know where they work and where they live. If the government was actually interested and capable, it wouldn’t take more than a week to locate just about every single illegal in the country. Certainly the Central American ones. Other groups might be harder to spot.

I am, or have been, completely against national IDs. But what if you had one, and had to show it just about everywhere you went, or everywhere you spent money? What if every town, borough, or county had an ICE Fast Response Team?

Let’s knock off the “it can’t be done” BS. This is America, and we can do anything we put our minds too. Put my system in place and you could capture and deport several million of these people a year without hardly trying.

  6. I love the LawDog!
    The American public spoke.
We, the American people, let them know that we were not going to be shat upon, once again when it comes to amnesty!
    Drew, you are correct.
If we actually enforced the laws that are already in place, the highways heading South would be bumper to bumper packed with the Mexican illegals heading home, I, for one, would love to see it.

Then we need to deal with the OTMs that have come across.

We will have to remain vigilant and keep the pressure steady as wardmama stated. The pro-amnesty crew will do everything in their power to slide this crap through.

  7. Don’t forget, The liberals say, ‘Most of those in power today weren’t in power then!”
Errrr.. Excuse me? Most of the lying <Expletive Deleted> idiots in ‘power’ were there then, and will probably be in the most powerful positions in congress until they are wheeled in on respirators with a dozen attendants each!
Amnesia, you say? No, IMHO it is selective memory. They seem to remember the indiscretions of the conservatives, but can’t remember their own. (Barney Frank, Chappaquiddick? anyone?)
<listens to cricket sounds from the house floor>
There is nothing that can’t be fixed by more laws being passed, along with more earmarks to make life a little better for the ‘less fortunate’ especially when it can create more constituents to vote the ‘democratic way, amigo’
I forgot why I wrote this post
