   Tom Cruise is down there waiting for us. To heck with him, I just hope Kelly McGillis is around somewhere.

   Yep, Sarge wins the Golden Compass Trophy ... AGAIN! 

   Trivia: The US Navy’s “Top Gun” school fell victim to BRAC in 1996 and the school was moved to Fallon NAS in Nevada while Miramar was turned over to the Marines. Just more slashing of the military by Clinton.

3. My guess is the property values in that neighborhood skyrocketed upward in 1996 with that change.  Ooh-rah!
