   That is Baghdad International Airport and the highway intersecting the entrance from the right is the “Hell Highway” where so many insurgent attacks have taken place.

3. Man, one that I could finally get without cheating and I didn’t get here soon enough.  oh well.  you can see Z lake and the palace if you look close.  I worked right across from there for a little bit.  Lot-o-fun, let me tell ya.
