   Yep, that is Maxwell. I know just about every inch of that base. My dad was stationed there while I was in kindergarten and 1st grade and back again for 5th and 6th grade - plus I worked there myself several years recently on government contracts.

Yep, that’s Maxwell.  The circle at the upper right is the Air War College, Air Command and Staff College, Squadron Officer School, and the USAF Professional Development School (may not have the name quite right, it’s where base commanders learn their trade and similar classes are taught).  Officer Training School is there now, having relocated from it’s proper home in San Antonio some years ago....

3. Crikey, I forgot about the AU library in the middle of the circle.  Lots of interesting reading there, enough to keep someone occupied for a lifetime....
