  1. I do believe that is Pope AFB.  Strange, empty ramps are a bit distracting.

  2. No wonder you keep getting lost, Skipper - your compass is broken.
Pope AFB is NE of Robins AFB, not North.

  4. No that is indeed Pope AFB with Ft. Bragg close by.

  5. That is indeed Pope AFB, built in 1919 just outside Camp Bragg (Later Fort Bragg). Pontotoc Bill wins the Golden Compass Prize today.

What took you guys so long?

Yes, my compass is totally hosed - which is why we’re having so much fun getting lost.

I guess I’ll have to drop you hosers over Dubai next just to confuse you. Or maybe an Air Force base that is no longer operational but still shows up on maps. Hmmmmm. Endless possibilities ....

    LOL

  6. even better skip, forget showing pictures of the airfield. for most of us, the titty bar in closest proximity to the base would make it a helluva lot easier.

  7. Skipper, why not really mix it up - some foreign airbases perhaps?  I know zip point squat about the bases, but I’ve really enjoyed the series.

  8. Skipper, remember:  A navigator is never lost, temporarily disoriented, but never lost.

Could be that you have too much computer near your compass and that is causing the distractions.  Either that, or you are just having too much fun flying everywhere.
