1. Now watch… “Mr. Rizwan” will get his wish, the postmaster will be sacked.... and the next thing you know, Mr. Rizwan will be unable to make a living as people will stop patronizing his store because they’ve decided he’s an asshole.... and within a year, probably within 6 months, Mr. Rizwan will be all over the papers complaining about how he’s losing his business because everyone is racist.

   I get these visions sometimes. You watch.

2. Interesting - this is what it going to take - those whom immigrated to actually become a citizen of the country that they immigrated to - to make a better life and future for their family - to stand up and say NO.

   And in Britain of all places - I thought you guys had rolled over and given up (much like the French always do) - quite impressed.

   My neighbors (from Africa) who always tell people that they are from Iowa (which they are too) - are embracing the American way (and surprizingly not the black American way) - using childrens books - she learned to read - and now has her drivers license. Way to go - and oh btw they fly the American flag.

   The US is not a Nation of Immigrants - It is a Nation basedupon Legal Immigration to Assimilate to make a better life. There is a vast difference.

3. Well hey .. you’re both kinda right and no surprise re. statement from GOF because ...

   the guy has been transfered out of there and sent to another PO. Not only that, but using non payment of his party (Liberal/Democrats) dues, he has now been tossed out of that party BUT ... the party also issued a statement saying his views ran counter to what the party stands for. ???

   So Wardmom ... the Brits are still surrender monkeys but it’s the foreigner who is standing firm.

   I have tone of paperwork and three Sunday papers I’m still working thru plus some left over from Saturday, and plan on doing another update on this.

   Re. Liberal Democrats, referred to as Lib/Dems, not exactly like liberals or democrats back home. Not right wing either but don’t confuse those terms.
   I need to get Lyndon here to give us an explanation on that party of which I do not know a whole lot.
