  1. Yet all polls indicate Kerry won all three. Worried downer

  2. Polls, schmolls .... the only poll that matters, Phi, is the one on November 2.

Get registered and go vote. Get your friends and family registered and help them get to the voting booth on election day.

The only alternative is to let Kerry win and MAY GOD HELP US ALL. shut eye

  3. "Phi, is the one on November 2.”

GACK! That’s what the losing side ALWAYS SAYS!!”

I was just having a moment of doubt. Feeling better now.

  4. Kerry’s cheap shot at Cheney’s daughter did not play well with undecided voters. I think history may very well prove that was Kerry’s “kitty dukakis” gaffe.

  5. Guys, I am going to have to disagree with most of your assessments on Bush being confused and not instantly firing back at Kerry’s statements.  I remember something I read once that goes something like this.  A WISE man thinks and studies on a thing before giving an answer but a FOOL spouts whatever pops into his head.  I, for one, can identify with Bush in this regard because I give serious thought to what I am going to say simply because unspoken words, I am their master but I become a slave once they are spoken.  And with a true full of shit politician like Kerry, it is wisdom to be careful what you say!

  6. Kerry contradicted himself in all three debates, but you have not posted the highlights.  He also contradicted earlier statements he’s made.  But the Pell Grant statement was not a flip-flop.  He said that Bush cut the funding for pell grants- Bush said he increased the numbers of students receiving them.  Kerry said that more students were asking for Pell grants because of the economy, but that Bush cut the dollars they received.  Honesty will win this election, because there is so much that is true that makes Bush the right choice, no need to twist Kerry where he didn’t actually flipflop for once.

  7. For example, Blogs for Bush has a better flip-flop from debate:

  8. Liberty, what’s your point? We cover what we can in the limited space and time available. We support the Blogs For Bush and are a member. We depend on Matt Margolis to provide more in-depth coverage of the Bush campaign than we can provide here since we cover a more varied set of topics. There was no attempt to “twist” anything Kerry said. We just presented the lines as they were spoken. How you interpret them is up to you. You are entitled to your opinion just as we are. I considered the statements a complete flip-flop since Kerry contradicted himself within the space of less than two minutes. Yes, there are more examples of his duplicitous behavior and we have covered them in other areas of this blog. Look around. We have been covering Kerry’s behavior since January. There is much more there than the last debate, my friend.

  9. Hey, didn’t mean to insult you.  I see what you posted as a little bit twisting his words.  If you read the debate transcript you’ll see that he does explain the distinction between number of grants and amount of grants.  I was trying to point out that there were other flip flops that you might have used instead to make your Kerry v Kerry point.  As for your other coverage, yes, it is good.  I was not trying to imply that your site is not good.
