James Arness

 

1. Not mentioned (or maybe I missed it) was that James was also the creature in the original “The Thing from another world” movie. Allegedly he was chosen for his height.

3. He was a cool guy. He had a 55 foot Kittenberg sailing yacht that was gray named the Seasmoke.

   Good sailor, liked to race in So Cal yacht races.
