  2. Being from Georgia....i am more than sick of hearing about this disgrace to the human race.
Every single person that i have talked to in regards to this topic, no matter the color of skin- concurs- she was WRONG, then played the race card to try to deflect blame from her sorry butt- something she has a history of doing. She is one of those people that screams RACISM, yet practices it to the hilt herself. SICKENING. DISGUSTING.

  6. Remove McKinney from office and prosecute the commie skank for assault on a police officer. Then lock her felon double-wide baboon ass up. Appologies are due Buckwheat.

  8. The most depressing thing?—other than the fact she votes on laws I must obey…

A majority of voters looked at her & decided, ”That’s the person I want representing me!”

A black female Lester Maddox.  Georgia ...  General Sherman where are you now that we need you?

Posted by Oink    United States   04/07/2006  at  04:39 PM

  9. Wallace for sure.  A majority of black voters elected him again.  Maddox I don’t know.

More folks should have stood up and said, “I’M SORRY”.

  10. Not Lester, a racist axxhole to the end.

But on race and states’ rights, he remained adamant.
“I want my race preserved,” he said, “and I hope most everybody else wants theirs preserved. I think forced segregation is illegal and wrong. I think forced racial integration is illegal and wrong. I believe both of them to be unconstitutional.”

Not even, “I’m sorry I beat knee-grows who wanted to eat at my restaurant with an axe handle”.

Funny, I care some about preserving my culture (Shakespeare, Bill of Rights) but I don’t give a rat’s ass about my race.

    Other than ‘human’.

  11. Did Uncle Paul live long enough to see things change?  If so, did he?  Or learn the STFU?

  12. Joke from back when Lester was Guv’ner

LESTER MADDOX AT THE PEARLY GATES --

    “Who dat out dere??

    “Fuhget it!”

  14. By popular demand—another ancient Lester Maddox joke:

The Georgia Governor’s library burned.  A tragic total loss.  All four books were destroyed and, sadly, two hadn’t even been colored in yet.

  17. Buckwheat was obviously shocked.  That is McKinney’s normal expression.

Posted by bigwhitehat    United States   04/08/2006  at  12:41 AM

  18. Oink, I had only heard of Lester Maddox from an excellent Randy Newman song “Rednecks”. I have been meaning to research who Lester Maddox was. Thanks for the enlightenment!

  19. LBJ:  Ole’ Lester was a humiliation for the double-digit IQ residents of Georgia—an apparent minority back then.  He was the laughing stock of the country.

The story I heard was that when Lester was running, an Old Time Georgia Aristocrat (pro-segregation) visited the editor of the Atlanta Constitution Newspaper (anti-segregation) saying, “we’ve got to join forces to defeat this embarassment to our state”.

The Editor said “No—Altho I believe there’ll be blood in the street if he wins, his victory will force Georgians, like you for example, to see the face of the racism you believe in.”

  20. A good article—Hurricane Katrina has shattered the black neighborhoods’ self-help networks.  That’s bad.
Neighborhoods aren’t so easy to rebuild as levees.

  21. I just wanna know which is Buckwheat and which is McKinney? I’d guess but my guess would be called ‘racist’ on account that one picture is in color.
