3. They were discussing the Ports Issue (more like kicking it around) on various talk radio shows over the weekend. First it was 6, then it was 8 (add in Corpus Christie and Beaumont TX), then 21, now 22 total.  Add in COSCO (China Overseas Shipping CO) running both ends od the Panama Canal, and the Port of Long Beach CA, and a deep water port in the Bahamas, the nation is slowly being parceled out to the highest bidders. Follow the money… We are being SOLD OUT…

   Might as well as let Japan be in charge of “Save the Whales” and Fat Teddy be in charge of MADD.

4. I’ve heard a claim (barely a rumor) that the ports are a quid pro quo for Dubai’s assistance in the Mid East.  The crossroads of so much smuggling and such knows where a lot of bodies are buried.  It didn’t make much sense to me.

   I still don’t care what safeguards are in place - Islamic countries are going to have to go a long way before I will believe that we can trust them.

5. E.Doll - actually, I think that is a badge on the dog...not a flower.  Though, it might be nice if DP sent flowers to butter us up before moving in.
