Side story: Paco Kelly explains about the mysterious and versatile .45-70 here. Most of my loading for my very strong modern rifle is what he’d call “level four”, perhaps even “level five”. Doc’s gun is down at the “level one” end, which requires very careful loadings because of it’s fragility. Yeah, a fragile rifle powerful enough to kill giant bears with. Go figure, but it’s true.

    in days of yor , ppl made their own replacement parts. No?
    Anyway .. you’re to damn young to be playing with guns and O. wants you to turn yours in at once. hand in at the local chapter of wearetheworldwherenooneneedsguns.
