2. L. I have wondered about that myself. Have you seen her on TV and interviews?
   She’s impressive, bright, but damn I wish she were better groomed. Often times she just doesn’t bother combing her hair and that’s pre-baby.
   The wife says that’s the Cambridge influence. She explained it to me but I couldn’t take it all in.

3. I’ve never heard of this woman before, so I’ve never seen her on TV, but her little picture here ... she looks better than nearly every woman I’ve ever met. Good enough to be on TV as a job. So who are all these brain dead beauties she’s both envious of and fed up with? Where do all the “professionally beautiful” people hide? Where do they live? It’s not like I live in Uglyville, or amongst the poor folk. But a woman as attractive as the one at the link? She’s rarer then hen’s teeth. They simply don’t exist in the real world.

   Oh, and regarding tomatoes ... once upon a time, when NJ was the truck garden center of the northeast, and the whole state was farms that shipped small amounts of fresh produce daily to Philly, NYC, Boston, we grew tomatoes for taste. Beefsteaks and Jersey Giants; tomatoes are what New Jersey did best. They weren’t picked as breakers or turnings either, but nearly fully ripe so as to sell in the next day or two. Those days are gone. Now you get tomatoes all year long, ripened with poisonous gases and only bred to be tough enough to be shipped anywhere. No taste, no aroma (you can smell a good tomato from across the room), undersized little red rocks.

   You want great tomatoes? Grow them yourself in your own back yard. Maybe that’s where you’ll find true beauty too, along with intelligent conversation.

4. If you rememeber the first couple of chapters of Atlas Shrugged you will find that Celia sounds just like Dagny in here disdain for the women around her and why she hated parties. Funny that.
