  1. Well well well. Looks like you managed to make your vote work in jersey for once in a very long time Drew.
Now you only have to figure out how to remove the entire corrupt legislature and the beyond corrupt beauracracy and your state may actually be worth a damn again.
    But its a start.

  2. We had a madhouse too - for an off year election where the only candidates were township trustees - we were busy from open to close. Got almost 50% - which for an off year - is huge. Tragically we lost - the Casino scam (it is against the OH constitution to build casinos - for the past few years they have been going for this) is here. Want to see how great casinos are - hey Detroit - how’s it going up there?!?

And of course all the other tax ‘em till they die ‘won’t raise your taxes’ levies passed. I think the first chance we get - we are gettin’ the heck out of Dodge - at least with no big cities around - they can’t set up Vote Early, Vote Often buses to get whatever tax and spend legislation thru by those who don’t own a home, don’t work and don’t care how much the evil rich have to pay in taxes.

    God Help America.

  3. It’s a start. Continue on folks. If we keep bashing away through the political realm, we may not have to grab that last box after all.

  4. In NY-23, the very fact that the Conservative Party candidate took Bill Owens (who was a registered independent until last year) as far as he did shows something to the NYGOP, and to the GOP in general.  That is, they have to have their base in order to win elections.  Conservatives are their base.  Owens is a Blue Dog Dem, by accounts--he’s against a public option for healthcare reform.
