It was good - certainly better than the US played. The officiating sucks - it’s like the keystone kops. I agree agamemnon - I’d rather a friend and ally than a team of a country that wouldn’t stand by us.
Sorry but I can’t get too worked up over it. England have struggled in every game. The average England supporter looks like a fat, beer sodden slug with a skinhead. England have a mediocre team of overpaid girly men and I don’t rate their chances of going much further.
Wardmama the US played well and were in a tough group and not helped by the dodgy refereeing, likewise the Holland Portugal game. What an absolute shower. Mind you they did England a favour by issuing a few red cards so whose grumbling?
