3. Oh lookie, the family that personally generates more than a billion pounds a year in tourist money has just added a new tourist attraction. Let the sales of locally sold or produced shirts, pictures, mugs, dishes, magazines, dolls, toys, and baby clothing commence.

5. A number of my former civil service colleagues have the same opinion as Rich. I am not too worried, I am probably something of a Republican, but the Royals do as Drew rightly points out pull in a lot of revenue. I cannot abide Charles however and I think if that nutjob does ever get his hands on the crown that will be the end of it.

   Going back to my civil service colleagues I do find it highly amusing that these people slate the royals as parasites but seem to ignore the fact that their income comes entirely from real tax payers. They even have the nerve to cry about the “tax they are paying” for this. Where the hell do they think their “tax” comes from?......oh maybe I didn’t mention, but these people are all socialists.

6. Ha, I love a post when everyone has contrasting opinions, and I agree with them all!

   It’s hard for Americans to get behind royalty. The whole “we own everything”, the whole living as gods incarnate as the regular John Bull tries to make it through a day. (or sits around collecting his handouts) But you’ve got a good bunch, and you like it that way, so good for all. Except Charles. He’s an odd cookie. And I really don’t like Camilla.
