  1. Aw, come on Skipper!!

You know damn well if this sack of offal had been held, the ACLU and the Usual Suspects would’ve been all over the Customs guys for violating this clown’s civil rights.

This situation is but another example of why there needs to be a Universal Carry Provision for all non-felon US citizens.

Unfortunately, the victims were Canadian and thus hostage to Socialist/Liberal ideas about how bad firearms are.

Your life is a gift from God and worth protecting.  Some assclown with a sword isn’t going to have much success with me and the beloved M1911A1!!

  2. “...and no one thought to ask this nice man if he was arriving for business or pleasure?” LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

With all the cutlery he had it must have been pleasure.

To be fair they did hold this lunatic for two hours trying to find some reason to turn him away or arrest him. They couldn’t find anything and as he was a citizen of the U.S. they had to let him in.

Perhaps both sides should be checking people in transit. The Canadians let him out without examination. Just as we let anybody leave this country uninspected. That’s how murderers can skip south to the land of no extradition for capital crimes.

It’s at the point of entry that the only questions are asked. This critter also skipped a court date in Canada that day. I believe that ICE knew it but Canadian courts are none of our business and the vica is versa. If you’re Canadian and skipping a court date here the Canadians will let you in.

Oh, and there’s a Canadian Senator who’s up in arms about this, but they forget that they let our deserters and assorted other criminals into Canada. Nobody’s prefect.

  3. I’ve never seen any inspection stations between states. I understand that California and Hawaii have some sort of agricultural inspections, but that’s the only ones I can think of.

I’ve been in every state east of the mississippi and a few on the other side and never seen anything resembling a border checkpoint between states. Usually it’s just a sign saying welcome to the dickhead state and the road may get better or worse.

I’m thinking the Constitution forbids it. Something about not impeding interstate commerce.
