  2. $13.50? LMAO The Amazon warehouse I work at starts at $15/hr and I don’t have to deal with the general public. Yea it’s warehouse work but casual dress plus I don’t have to deal with Karens.

  3. Right? And what happens to the gate keeping when you go inside to clean the bathrooms?

This place pays everyone poorly except the boss. They paid me less than that even after 4 years. Of course, most of that job was just sitting in a box. There was nothing to do, no responsibilities, nothing. Pretty much got paid to get up early and go drink coffee for 2 hours M-F.

  4. Hey better than the area that connects the westside (bastard step-child of the city, we pay for all their pie-in-sky taxes but don’t get a vote - neat trick. And I doubt the rich on the eastside have the same deal) to the city. Last year they decided two lanes plus a parking lane just wasn’t good enough (even though most of the people in that stretch (called South Fairmount) don’t have cars. Tore it all up in the center - apt buildings, a Micky D, a UDF and most importantly the local public pool for that area. It is crap to get through - which I inadvertently did the other day when S-I75 was a parking lot. And that area now has one little BP on the corner for the entire area. I haven’t seen anything about the pools opening. Ours - behind the hill behind us - appears to be open, sometimes. Don’t know about the one in our little subdivision. We can’t afford the fees at either one nor the nearest YMCA. Not that I’ve ever used a public pool outside of a couple of hotels we stayed in (kids were the reason).
