Write down your mistakes. Email them to me upon your return. I’ve never been there.
I was only ever there once. Fascinating place, but I couldn’t take more than a couple of days. There’s a casino/restaurant/brewery pub called Big Dog’s Draft House. It brews on the premises. The food was good and the ale was excellent but it’s a fair hike on “shank’s pony” (on foot) though taxis were not expensive.
There was a place called Crazy Horse Too which offered “alternative” entertainment. Not really my cup of tea old boy, but amusing in a voyeuristic fashion.
I have to say I didn’t much care for having to walk through the casinos to get to your room but the price of accomodation was laughably cheap and the food was almost given away. I am sure that I read somewhere they pump extra oxygen into the casinois to keep people awake.
There is I believe a place where you can hire virtually any gun that takes your fancy including a 50 Cal machine gun similar to the type used on B17’s probably a bit expensive on ammo though. Also there are quite a few bargains to be had in the pawn shops! Fools and their money being somewhat easily parted.....
After 10 years as a resident of the Vegas Valley, I can honestly say that I would never go back! Too many people, too hot, and not a good place to raise a family. I only made it to one show: Blue Man Group. I got comped on that show although in retrospect I would have probably have actually paid. I wanted to see Crazy Girls but wasn’t willing to drag the wife along (for obvious reasons). Enjoy your trip. Don’t imagine that you can beat the system though.
Have a great time and let us all know how it goes! I am not a big fan of spending money in the casinos, but would gladly pay to see Barry. Sorry, I know you all are disappointed.
Take care,
BeccaB
Be sure to see the outdoor water fountains synchronized to music and colored lights...gosh- I can’t recall where it is located close to, but it is fabulous.
Cirque de Soleil is also wonderful.
The Pussy Cat Dolls are great.
I hope you are taking a camera...i have always enjoyed taking photo’s while there.
Whatever you choose, be safe, and ENJOY !
Have a good time, Mr. C. I’ve never been there so I have no suggestions. I’m sure the locals can fill you in on more than you can possibly do/see while you’re there.

I would would think, in general, before Leaving Las Vegas, that it would be fun to hook-up with a prostitute who resembles Elizabeth Shue and drink one’s self to death.
