On a side note, what is the history of previously-ran’s running again? I mean legit candidates, not nutters like LaRouche and Angela Davis or Gus Hall who run every time a seat comes open.
That photo of Jon Carrey being snubbed by Nancy “The Cashbag” and Chuckie “The Hair” and Patti “The Osama Mama” sealed the deal in my mind. Kerry gets bupkis from the DNC and other dems henceforth and immediately, sez I to meself.
I remember in Basic Training, FOrt Dix, July 1969: the DIs had a term which was applied to the hopelessly stoopid, the untrainable, thosee unfit to wear a uniform: STUMP Stupid Trooper Under Military Protection. I’d SWAG that J F’ing K was a true-blue certified STUMP during his brief RVN tenure…

Man, the real fun is going to be seeing who is left standing in 2008 to even be nominated and I disagree with Dick Morris - there are waaaaaaaaaaay too many people in the US, even among the dems, who do not even want to see a rerun of the Bills and Hills show in the White House, especially this time with the real ‘power’ of that ‘power couple’ in the Seat.
At least we won’t be hearing much from John’reportingforduty’Kerry in the next few months. And they have done a fairly good job of silencing John’killedincoldblood’Murtha.
And ole Webb with his fake voice, fake hair and fake humility, lying about the military opinion on OIF shot himself in the foot - as I said, it will be interesting in seeing who is left standing in 2008 among the Dems.
And betcha - even less (particularly among the rabid and insane) if there is another terrorist attack between now and then. Only reason I would want one to happen.

Ohh and in case you forgot, he mentioned his service in his speech saying he wasn’t running.. boy talk about somebody milking his 3 months of vietnam duty for way more then it’s worth.. He’s lucky he didn’t end up with a Dishonorable discharge due to his activities when he came back to the states while still a reserve member....a disgrace...the only reason he ended up in vietnam is because he was trying to stay out of vietnam by joining a position that usually didn’t do nam service.. his betting went wrong though and he was trying for as many purple hearts for bandages as he could get once there.. and with his trusty 8mm camera with him in vietnam to go get footage for his future political campaigns…
Infinity - His offense goes beyond the milking, IMHO. I may be wrong, but I have a suspicion that Kerry’s reluctance to release all his military records has a good (to him) reason. He may have been give a less than honorable discharge because of his activities with VVAW while still a reserve officer, then received a pardon from Jimmah Cahtah. Something was really fishy about having 3 or more citations for his Silver Star, each having different wording, each signed by a different authority, the last being a SECNAV. Silver Stars don’t usually go that high for authorization, but he had just become a US Senator.
