ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Sorry!
How about making a list of other suitable monuments and people? I’ll start
Placed next to George’s in DC: The MARTHA WASHINGTON MONUMENT: A 555 foot deep hole in the ground.
The OLDCATMAN MEMORIAL: an eternally burning used tire dump with daily incineration of seized marijuana!
We lived in St Louis for about a year but never got around to riding in the Arch. We did visit it from time to time. I can’t think of anything better to do in St Louis…
apart from the tour of the Budweiser grounds (and the free beer tasting afterward )
After having abused your mucous membranes for years, I’m surprised you can smell anything.
Oink & OCM: In deference to that now famous MEMORIAL to peace and brotherhood from Rodney King ..... Can’t we all just get along?
OINK & OCM: retire to neutral corners and patch up your brains - come out fighting. May the best .. er .. uh .. creature win.
The Gateway Arch is also an optical illusion: its height and width are 630 feet.
At first glance, it looks taller than wide to most folks, me included.
I have lived in St. Louis for 23 years and I still love to go down to the Arch to shoot pics............Whenever I have out of town guests I take them to the Arch - it never ceases to amaze me..............However, I have met a number of “natives” who have never been to visit the Arch..........Why? - They don’t like to drive downtown - idiots!!!!!! Hmmmmmmm.....Let me go find a current Arch photo to send to Allen, hoping he will post it here..........After I sign off tonight I will send one to him.............
