Barbarians.
orphaned/injured children wasn’t my point.
They’ve gravitated to the few remaining pastimes they can indulge in that don’t need a societal and technological infrastructure. Let someone else rebuild.
Fucking barbarians. Remind me of why this culture is worth preserving?
They can’t use the earthquake as an excuse; they’d be there doing it anyway.

He’s right. I saw some midgets at the bar. They were tossing back beers just like everybody else.
You’d think they could play a bit of soccer there in Haiti. That doesn’t take any equipment, and you can use anything for a ball if needs must. I’d rather hear stories that 500 of them got together to do a barn raising or rebuild a church or something. I’m hoping those stories are out there and just pushed out of the way by the MSM focusing on the relief efforts and the need for every thing etc.
