At least the SRX is no longer the ugly, disproportionate melange that it was when it first came out. Though it was never in the same league as the Pontiac Aztec. Wow, that thing hit every limb, branch, twig, and leaf on the way down from the top of the ugly tree, which then fell over right on top of it once it slammed into the ground.
Uh - great description Red - but there is a Scion (some ‘station wagon’ type) , I think - the black one looks like a hearse. Yeah right just want I want to drive around in.
You’re probably thinking about the xB, which used to be a complete box on wheels, and is now a bit less boxy but still is rather homely. Oh, and I misspelled “Aztek”; I forgot Pontiac used a K at the end of it, just another stupid thing about a stupid ugly plastic car.
Ya know, for all the folks who bust on the Aztek, as if the thing is worse than the old AMC Pacer crossbred to an Edsel ... just try and buy one. Sure, you can find them ... online listings show a 10 yo Aztek with 100K miles for $7,000. Seems like they held their value pretty well for such terrible vehicles.
Actually, I think the Aztek was just a bit ahead of the game. All these crossover Utes are rather goofy looking.
Any late-model Pontiac Aztek would serve Sandra Fluke well as effective Birth Control!
